KATRA: A workshop on stress coping management was recently organised at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), aimed at equipping students, faculty, and staff with practical strategies to manage stress effectively in academic and professional settings.
The session covered various aspects of stress, including its causes, impact on mental and physical health, and techniques for coping and resilience. Participants were introduced to mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, time management strategies, and problem-solving approaches to handle stress constructively.
Experts conducting the workshop engaged attendees through interactive discussions, group activities, and real-life scenarios to help them understand and apply the concepts in their daily lives. Emphasis was laid on building emotional intelligence and fostering a positive mindset.
