GANDERBAL: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, a variety of patriotic activities took place today in educational institutions throughout Ganderbal district, showcasing enthusiastic and vibrant participation.
All schools in the district have been actively engaged to promote widespread awareness and community involvement. The day featured numerous events such as flag hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs, awareness rallies, and painting competitions, with active participation from students, teachers, and local residents.
Special focus was given to educating students about the importance of the National Flag and the guidelines outlined in the Flag Code of India. Informative sessions taught students the proper etiquette for hoisting and displaying the tiranga, fostering a strong sense of patriotism and respect for the nation’s symbols.
Students across the district displayed handmade artwork inspired by the tricolour, while school campuses were decorated with flags and banners, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic spirit and national pride.
