Srinagar: Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty on Friday launched the promotional campaign for the second edition of the Kashmir Marathon, set to take place in the city on November 2.
The organisers shared a video message from Shetty on their X handle, where he encouraged athletes to join the event.
“Hi guys, this is Suniel Shetty and I’m coming back for the second edition of the Kashmir Marathon on November 2 in Srinagar,” he said in the video.
Calling the marathon “more than just a run,” Shetty described it as an unforgettable experience. “Last year was absolutely magical, and this year we go bigger—more runners, more energy, more memories. So lace up, sign up, and I’ll see you at the starting line. Let’s run for fitness, unity, and the love of Kashmir.”
The inaugural edition of the Kashmir Marathon saw participation from several athletes, including Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, a known fitness enthusiast.
