Rajouri:The Indian Army at Samote, Rajouri District, organized a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan event to promote a clean and healthy lifestyle among soldiers and locals. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness and its impact on health, well-being, and the environment.
The event featured an educational session where soldiers learned about health problems related to waste disposal, unhygienic living conditions, sewage issues, and personal hygiene. A cleanliness drive was conducted, in which soldiers enthusiastically participating in cleaning the unit area and its surroundings. Approximately 94 soldiers attended the event, demonstrating their commitment to promoting a clean and healthy environment. This effort aligns with the national Swachh Bharat Mission, which aims to achieve universal sanitation and cleanliness across India.
