Poonch Rajouri & Reasi : The Indian Army organized a massive cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative in various locations across Poonch, Rajouri, and Reasi District, including Salani, Khanetar, Sindrah, Haribudha Loran, Gambhir, Hasplot, Sakri, Kalali. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 04 officers, 06 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), 97 Other Ranks (OR), 217 civilians, 20 teachers, and 195 students.
The collective effort aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in the region, while also spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean environment. The Indian Army’s initiative is a testament to its commitment to serving the nation and supporting local communities. By organizing the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Army aims to contribute to the government’s mission of creating a clean and healthy India.
