Tahira Kashyap celebrates 17 years of marriage with Ayushmann Khurrana: ‘You bring out the best in me’
Mumbai: Filmmaker and author Tahira Kashyap marked her 17th wedding anniversary with husband and actor Ayushmann Khurrana by sharing a heartfelt note on social media, fondly calling it their “legal” anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, Tahira posted two pictures — one from their wedding day and another recent snapshot — along with an emotional caption that read:
“Happy ‘legal’ anniversary! We got legal (as we called it) 17 years back this day! In this world of chaos and order, ups and downs, you are my constant — and it feels like you always have been since lifetimes. You bring out the best in me even in the worst of times, something no one else can do. Umm, forever (sic).”
Ayushmann and Tahira, childhood sweethearts, tied the knot in 2008 and share a son and a daughter.
On the work front, Ayushmann was last seen in Thamma alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rashmika Mandanna. Set in a fictional universe, the film introduces Aneet Padda as “Shakti Shalini” from Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe and even crosses paths with Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya.
Thamma revolves around a journalist, played by Ayushmann, who finds himself entangled in a power struggle between vampires portrayed by Rashmika and Nawazuddin.
Up next, Ayushmann will star in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, alongside Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is slated for a Holi release on March 4, 2026.
The announcement was made by T-Series Films on October 18 with the caption:
“Har pati ki hoti hai apni ek aflatoon duniya… Jo unko bhale hi satati ho, magar hum sabki badha hasati hai! Introducing the world of #PrajapatiPandey starring Ayushmann Khurrana in #PatiPatniAurWohDo with #SaraAliKhan, #WamiqaGabbi, and #RakulPreetSingh. This #MudassarAziz directorial promises laughter, love, and chaos this Holi!”
