Mumbai: Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty are set to bring a fresh blend of fun and friendship to the screen with their upcoming series Do You Wanna Partner.
The trailer for the comedy-drama dropped on Friday, offering a lively glimpse into the quirky world of the show. Running two minutes and forty-seven seconds, it follows best friends Shikha (Tamannaah) and Anahita (Diana), who set out to launch their own craft beer brand. What starts as an ambitious dream quickly spirals into chaos involving rival barons, mobsters, and unexpected hurdles. At its core, the story highlights laughter, hustle, and the resilience of friendship when faced with big risks.
Joining the cast are Jaaved Jaaferi, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Neeraj Kabi, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha.
Backed by Dharmatic Entertainment, the show is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta, with Collin D’Cunha and Archit Kumar directing. The screenplay is penned by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gangopadhyay.
Speaking about the project, Tamannaah said the series is a tribute to women who dare to dream big.
“Do You Wanna Partner is one of the most layered, emotionally complex yet fun shows I’ve worked on. What makes it special is how it celebrates female friendships and sisterhood without turning it into a women-versus-men story,” she shared.
Diana echoed the sentiment, noting that the authenticity of the bond between the two leads drew her to the project.
“What struck me most was the genuine chemistry between the characters—a rarity on screen. Beyond the entrepreneurial journey, the show beautifully captures the magic of collaboration and female friendship, making it deeply relatable,” she said.
Do You Wanna Partner premieres on Prime Video on September 12.
