Perth: Team India kicked off their preparations for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, set to begin on Sunday.
Key players including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul were seen at the training session, alongside fast bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana, as they geared up for the white-ball challenge against the Aussies.
Kohli, returning to the nets for the first time since the 2025 Champions Trophy final against Australia, appeared in fine touch, timing the ball beautifully during his batting practice.
The Men in Blue are on a full-fledged tour of Australia comprising three ODIs followed by five T20Is. The ODI leg will be played on October 20, 23, and 25, while the T20I series will run from October 29 to November 8.
The Indian squad departed for Australia from New Delhi earlier this week.
