Mumbai: The makers of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, have unveiled the teaser, giving audiences a peek into a quirky, lighthearted tale.
The teaser opens with Varun as Sunny Sanskari, a naïve yet amusing character, donning a Baahubali outfit and seeking feedback from his friend Muntu (played by Abhinav Sharma). Soon after, the video introduces Sanya Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, and Rohit Saraf. While Rohit is shown as a wealthy man, the visuals hint at a romance between him and Sanya.
Varun and Janhvi’s playful chemistry steals the spotlight, leaving fans eager for more. The film, directed by Shashank Khaitan—known for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Dhadak—is set to release in theatres on October 2.
Sharing the teaser, Dharma Productions teased the storyline with the caption: “Quick intro: Four people. Two heartbreakers. One wedding.”
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the romantic comedy’s full plot remains under wraps. The film marks Varun and Janhvi’s second outing after Bawaal, and Varun’s third collaboration with Khaitan following the Dulhania franchise.
Meanwhile, Varun is also gearing up for Anurag Singh’s Border 2, co-starring Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
