The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) has successfully busted a terror-linked network operating under the guise of social activism, officials said on Tuesday.

The network, which claimed to be engaged in social work and advocacy, was found to be involved in activities aimed at supporting and facilitating terror operations in the region. CIK teams carried out detailed surveillance and intelligence-gathering before taking action against the suspects.

Officials said the operation led to the identification of key operatives and the seizure of incriminating materials, including communications and documents linking them to terror outfits. The individuals involved were using their cover as social activists to evade detection and propagate extremist agendas.

The authorities have assured the public that such networks will not be allowed to operate under any pretext, and security agencies remain committed to maintaining peace and lawfulness in the region. Further investigations are underway to trace any wider connections and prevent potential threats.
