JAMMU: Police on Sunday said they arrested three suspected drug peddlers in Kathua district and recovered 12.63 grams of heroin from their possession.
The accused, identified as Shiv Kumar Anand, Gourav Singh, and Hitesh Kumar, were apprehended from the Lakhanpur bypass late Saturday night, officials said.
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway, police added.
