Three police officers from J&K have been transferred to Ladakh on deputation

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has deputed three police officers to the Union Territory of Ladakh for a two-year term.

According to the official order, the officers are Dy.SP (SDPO Kangan) Faraz Hussain Shah, Dy.SP (17th Bn IR) Adil Mushtaq Sheikh, and Inspector (Security Wing J&K) Vijay Singh Choudhary.

The order specifies that they will serve on deputation until further notice, while their lien and promotion avenues will remain with J&K’s Home Department. The officers have been instructed to report to the Ladakh Home Department without delay.
