Kulgam: Security forces on Monday busted two old terrorist hideouts during a joint search operation in the Damhal Hanjipora forest area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.
The operation was launched jointly by the 9 Rashtriya Rifles and the local police based on specific intelligence inputs, they added.
“Two old hideouts were located and subsequently destroyed between the Ahmadabad and Nengripora forest areas,” an official said.
He further said that items such as gas cylinders and clothes were recovered from the sites, while a detailed investigation is underway.
