Several MLAs Meet CM to Discuss Constituency Development; Union Bank Donates ₹1 Crore for Flood Relief

Srinagar: Union Bank of India has contributed ₹1 crore to support the ongoing flood relief efforts in Jammu and Kashmir. The cheque was formally presented to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Civil Secretariat here.

Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Minister lauded the Bank’s gesture, emphasizing that such contributions play a vital role in the relief and rehabilitation of affected communities. He highlighted that collaborative efforts from institutions and individuals are essential for the State’s recovery from the calamity.

Meanwhile, MLAs Sajjad Shaheen of Banihal and Javid Iqbal of Budhal called on the Chief Minister at the Civil Secretariat. They discussed key developmental concerns in their constituencies and sought the Government’s support in addressing pressing local needs.

The Chief Minister assured the MLAs that their concerns would be thoroughly reviewed and appropriate measures taken to ensure balanced development across all regions.
