iPhone 17 Series, Samsung Galaxy S25 FE & More: Big Phone Launches in September 2025

September has officially arrived, and in the tech world, that means one thing—new iPhones. Apple has confirmed the launch of the iPhone 17 series, and as always, it’s expected to dominate headlines with fresh design upgrades, new hardware, and plenty of leaks leading up to the big day.

But September isn’t just about Apple. Other major brands, including Samsung, Oppo, Lava, and Realme, also have launches lined up this month, making it a packed season for smartphone enthusiasts. Here’s a look at the biggest announcements expected:

Apple iPhone 17 Series

Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 lineup on September 9. The series will again include four models, possibly introducing a new iPhone 17 Air alongside the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Expect refreshed colors, design tweaks—especially on the Pro models—and big hardware upgrades with the A19 and A19 Pro chips. A long-awaited periscope camera is also rumored for the Pro lineup.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung has scheduled its Galaxy Event for September 4, where the Galaxy S25 FE is set to debut. Completing the S25 lineup, this model could feature the Exynos 2400 chip, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor. A big upgrade could be its 45W fast charging, up from the 25W support on the S24 FE.

Oppo F31 Series

The Oppo F31 series is also expected this month in India, likely including the F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+. The Pro+ variant may get the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a sleek flat-frame design, and a massive 7,000mAh battery. The other models are expected to offer incremental updates over the F29 lineup.

Lava Agni 4

Indian brand Lava is gearing up to launch the Agni 4, rumored to come with a 120Hz FHD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 8350, and up to 8GB RAM. This year, Lava might shift to a dual 50MP camera setup, while adopting silicon-carbon battery tech to deliver a 7,000mAh battery in a metal-frame design.

Realme 15T

Rounding out the month could be the launch of the Realme 15T, a mid-range phone priced around ₹20,000. Expected features include an AMOLED display, sleek iPhone-inspired design, MediaTek Dimensity chip, up to 12GB RAM, and a 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging. Realme may also add a vapor cooling system for better performance under load.
