Mumbai: Fans will have to wait a bit longer for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s much-anticipated film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
Originally slated for a September 2025 release, the Shashank Khaitan-directed romantic thriller will now arrive in theatres on October 2, 2025.
To announce the new release date, the makers unveiled a fresh character poster featuring Varun Dhawan, where he is seen flashing a smile and greeting with a ‘namaste’ gesture.
Dharma Productions shared the poster on Instagram with a poetic caption:
“Sunny Sanskari ki shaayari – Yeh aansoon hain mere, samundar ka jal nahin… Baarish ka kya bharosa, aaj hai… kal nahi!”
They confirmed the new release date: “#SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 2nd October 2025.”
The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. It is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh. The film promises to be a grand cinematic experience and features a stellar cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
