Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal made Katrina Kaif’s 42nd birthday extra special by sharing a heartfelt post on social media dedicated to his wife.
Taking to Instagram, Vicky showered love on his “birthday girl” with a series of adorable and romantic pictures, giving fans a glimpse of their sweet bond.
The first photo showed Katrina pulling goofy expressions, showcasing her fun side. In another image, Vicky is seen planting a kiss on her cheek as the couple cozily snuggled up. One particularly romantic snap captured Katrina gazing lovingly at her husband. The post also included a throwback shot of Katrina enjoying a serene moment at the beach.
Alongside the dreamy photo carousel, Vicky wrote a simple yet affectionate caption: “Hello Birthday Girl! I ❤️ U.”
Vicky and Katrina tied the knot on December 9, 2021, in a private ceremony at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.
On Koffee With Karan, Katrina had earlier opened up about their love story, revealing that they first met at filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s party. She admitted that Vicky wasn’t initially on her radar. “I didn’t even know much about him,” she said. “He was just a name I had heard of. But when I met him, I was completely won over.”
Describing their relationship as “unexpected and out of the blue,” Katrina added, “It felt like destiny. There were so many coincidences—it all just seemed so unreal.”
Birthday wishes also poured in from across the film industry. Priyanka Chopra posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram story alongside a photo of Katrina. “Happy Birthday Gorgeous,” she wrote. “Here’s to more love, light, and magic in your year ahead @katrinakaif.”
Though Priyanka and Katrina were announced as co-stars in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, the film has yet to begin production more than three years after its announcement.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also sent her love, writing, “Happy birthday forever superstar. May all your dreams come true… sending you tons of love… @katrinakaif.”
On the work front, Katrina was last seen opposite Vijay Sethupathi in Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas.
