Jammu: Vilakshan Singh, President of the J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim), has officially lodged a complaint against Harsh Dev Singh, who is running for the upcoming assembly elections from Chenani Constituency. The complaint, submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir, with a copy sent to the Returning Officer for the Chenani Assembly constituency, accuses Harsh Dev Singh of filing a false affidavit.

According to the complaint, Harsh Dev Singh concealed criminal antecedents in his affidavit. Specifically, Harsh Dev did not reveal that an FIR (No. 0059 of 2024) was registered against him on February 16, 2024, at Police Station Nagrota. The FIR includes charges under sections 143, 147, 149, 500, 504, 506, 109, and 34 RPC. Harsh Dev Singh is identified as accused number five in this FIR.

Additionally, Harsh Dev Singh did not mention a pending criminal case titled “Vilakshan Singh V/S Ankit Love and others,” in which he is an accused party. This case is currently being adjudicated in the court of the Learned 2nd Additional Munsiff Jammu, with Harsh Dev Singh listed as accused number three.

Vilakshan Singh has called for strict legal action against Harsh Dev Singh for allegedly concealing this vital information, which he argues undermines the integrity of the electoral process. Singh calls upon the authorities to address this issue promptly.
