Voter Awareness Programme held at GDC Dudu Basantgarh

UDHAMPUR: A captivating Awareness programme under SVEEP was organised today at Government Degree College Dudu Basantgarh, AC 62-Ramnagar, under the guidance of District Election Officer Saloni Rai and supervision of Returning officer Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral.

The event saw the active participation of around 200 people from different sections of the society including young voters. The event was further enriched by motivational speeches delivered by Rakesh Kumar, Nodal Officer SVEEP, AC 62-Ramnagar, Subash Brahamanu, Dogri Artist and SVEEP Icon and Arvind Brahamanu.

They captivated the new voters through engaging cultural performances, powerful speeches- delivering the message on the importance of exercising their right to vote.

In his address, Rakesh Kumar, Nodal Officer SVEEP, laid emphasis on the importance of voting and urged upon students to spread the message of ethical voting in the society.

The event culminated in front of the college gate with the voters holding banners and chanting Slogans for stronger democracy.

Similar event was also organised at Government Middle School Gandh Dogri where cultural performances, skits, speeches highlighted the significance of making informed voting decisions. Both the events were organized by the SVEEP team Ramnagar.
