Pune: The popular reality show Bigg Boss 19 witnessed its first eviction, and it turned out to be a surprising double elimination.
This week’s Weekend Ka Vaar was hosted by Farah Khan, alongside Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. The episode saw contestants Nagma Mirajkar and Natalia Janoszek exit the house after receiving the lowest audience votes.
During Sunday’s WKV episode, Farah Khan first announced Natalia’s eviction. Just as the housemates were preparing to bid her goodbye, she unveiled a twist: Nagma would also be leaving. The announcement left everyone emotional, especially Awez Darbar, who broke down in tears.
Nagma, too, struggled to hold back her emotions. She shared a heartfelt, long hug with Awez before leaving. Speaking about her, Awez said emotionally, “She is incredibly strong. Everything I know about social media is because of her. I didn’t even know how social media worked; I was always focused on dancing, but she taught me.”
Shortly after her eviction, Nagma took to Instagram to share an emotional post reflecting on her brief journey in the house. She wrote:
“I never thought I would be out so soon. Apologies to my fans if I disappointed them. I wasn’t at my best health-wise, but even so, I discovered so much about myself—lessons I’ll carry with me forever. While my journey ends here, my heart remains inside the house with people I love and respect. I’ll be rooting for my love, Awez, and I can’t wait to see him shine the way I know he will. Shoutout to some amazing souls inside who made this journey special for me!”
Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioCinema at 9 pm, followed by its TV telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
The competition continues with contestants like Kunickaa Sadanand, Gaurav Khanna, Awez Darbar, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, Tanya Mittal, and Amaal Mallik vying for the trophy. Last week, Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha, entered as the season’s first wildcard contestant.
