JAMMU: Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s White Knight Corps, on Friday stressed the importance of maintaining strong defensive and surveillance mechanisms along the Line of Control (LoC) to safeguard territorial integrity and ensure mission readiness.
During his visit to forward areas along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, the GOC reviewed the current security situation.
Lt Gen Mishra is presently touring several operational areas in the Jammu region to assess and strengthen the troops’ preparedness ahead of Independence Day.
