Jammu: Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GoC) of the White Knight Corps, visited Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday to assess the security situation and review operational preparedness in the region.
During his visit to the Headquarters of Romeo Force, the GoC emphasized the need for maintaining high levels of readiness and ensuring control over the operational environment in the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
In a post on X, the White Knight Corps stated, “GoC White Knight Corps visited Headquarters Romeo Force to review the operational preparedness and prevailing security dynamics in the sector.”
Lieutenant General Mishra also praised the Romeo Force for its continuous and proactive counter-terrorism operations in the sensitive areas of Poonch and Rajouri.
Romeo Force, a division of the Rashtriya Rifles, is tasked with conducting anti-militancy operations in these border districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
