Xiaomi HyperOS 3 With Android 16 Beta Announced: Rollout Timeline Revealed

Xiaomi has officially introduced its Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update in China this week, with a beta rollout scheduled for a wide range of Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices. The new version brings fresh UI changes, redesigned app icons, enhanced privacy features, and a more polished visual style inspired by Android 16.

Unlike Google, which has already released the stable Android 16 for Pixel users, Xiaomi will begin with the beta program first, suggesting that the stable HyperOS 3 update may not arrive until December 2025 or early 2026.

Key Features of HyperOS 3

UI Overhaul: Darker shades, gradients, and redesigned apps for a modern look (similar to iOS 26 beta).

Super Island: Xiaomi’s version of Apple’s Dynamic Island, showing real-time updates like deliveries, flights, and charging status.

Improved Dialer (China ROM only): More informative interface.

Faster App Launches & Gaming Boost: Lower latency and quicker response times.

Dynamic Lockscreens & Wallpapers: More customization options.

Cross-Platform Compatibility: Seamless data transfer between Xiaomi devices, iPhones, and Macs.
