Mumbai: Comedian and actor Kiku Sharda on Friday rubbished rumours about his exit from The Great Indian Kapil Show and an alleged fallout with co-star Krushna Abhishek.

Kiku took to Instagram, sharing a picture with Krushna and clarifying the buzz.
“Yeh bandhan… kabhi nahi tootega! The fight was just a prank,” he wrote.

He further assured fans that he continues to be a part of Kapil Sharma’s show.
“Don’t fall for gossip that I’ve left The Great Indian Kapil Show. I’ll always remain with this parivaar. Ab yeh sab chhodo aur jao Netflix pe show dekho — sirf 3 episode baaki hain,” he added.

Speculation around Kiku’s exit surfaced after a behind-the-scenes video of him and Krushna, seemingly in a heated argument, went viral. His clarification has since put fans at ease.

Social media was quick to respond with relief:
“You two are the best,” wrote one user, while another commented, “Good, warna aapke bina show mein maza hi nahi aata.”

Meanwhile, Kiku is set to appear in a new reality show, Rise and Fall, featuring 15 contestants including Arjun Bijlani, Kubbra Sait, Dhanashree Verma, Aditya Narayan and Aarush Bhola. The show, hosted by Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover, will stream on Amazon MX Player from September 6.
