Youth participation in elections essential for nation’s development: Ashok Koul

Jammu: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, led by its state general secretary (organization) Ashok Koul, held a meeting of the Election Management Department at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Adv. Vibodh Gupta, state general secretary and former MLC and department Incharge Parduman Singh also addressed the meeting, in which all the BLA-1 of Jammu division and conveners and co-convenors of the Election Department were present.

Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, asked the party activists associated with the election management to fully concentrate on the new polling booths. He said that the new polling stations have been added with the addition of votes, hence the party activists have to do extensive work on the new voter lists, and categorize it to facilitate the voting process in the later stage. He asked that the PM has focused on the youth as the first-time voter in the nation’s election process. He termed the participation of youth in the election process as essential for nation’s development and insisted that the party activists must approach and prompt the new voters to vote for BJP to ensure the development and strengthening of the nation.

Adv Vibodh Gupta asked the party activists to work with dedication and responsibility. He insisted that the party workers must acquaint themselves with the minute details of the tasks linked to the election management before they venture out in the field on the ground level.

Parduman Singh shared the development of the works done by the election management teams with the senior leadership. He asked the team members that now they should concentrate on their work in the field. He asked them to conduct similar meetings at the district and the mandal levels to push the ground-level activist into the election mode.
