Mumbai: Zarine Khan, mother of actor Zayed Khan and interior designer Sussanne Khan, has reportedly passed away.
According to sources, her final rites will be held on Friday at 4 pm at the Juhu crematorium, while a prayer meet is scheduled for Monday at JW Marriott, Mumbai.
Following the news of her demise, several family members and close friends, including veteran actress Shabana Azmi, arrived to pay their last respects.
Zarine Khan is survived by her husband, veteran actor-director Sanjay Khan, and their four children — Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Khan Ali, and Simone Arora.
Earlier this year, in April, Zarine and Sanjay celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Their daughter Farah Khan Ali had penned a heartfelt tribute to her parents on Instagram, describing their marriage as “a story woven with love, laughter, tears, trials, and triumphs” and calling their bond “a legacy built on love and family.”
