Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary lays foundation stones for key developmental projects in Nowshera and Sunderbani

RAJOURI : Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary yesterday conducted an extensive tour of Nowshera and Sunderbani areas of Rajouri district, during which he laid foundation stones for several vital projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and strengthening local infrastructure.

During the visit, the Deputy CM laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of the Lamberi–Gogri road and the construction/upgradation of the road from MS Kanara to International School Handan. He also reviewed the progress of the ongoing 20-meter span motorable bridge at Zinda Peer Kampla and its approach road.

Later, the Deputy CM visited the Sunderbani Bus Stand, where he kick-started blacktopping works to improve road quality and ensure smoother commuting for the public.

Interacting with residents during the tour, Surinder Choudhary listened to their concerns and developmental aspirations, assuring them of the Government’s unwavering commitment to equitable development and better public amenities across all regions.

The local populace expressed gratitude for the government’s continuous efforts to boost road infrastructure and accelerate overall development in the district.

Superintending Engineer Tilak Raj, Executive Engineer Sarwar Mehmood, and other district and sectoral officers accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister during the visit.
