Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ranbir Singh Pathania on Thursday said the party is fully prepared for Friday’s Rajya Sabha elections and remains confident of a favourable result.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting of BJP legislators, Pathania said, “We held a meeting today focused on tomorrow’s Rajya Sabha polls. We are confident of winning one seat and will contest strongly for the remaining two.”
He stressed that all BJP legislators would vote strictly in accordance with the party’s directives. “There will be no horse trading or unconscious support. We will cast our votes consciously, guided by our principles,” he stated.
Reiterating the BJP’s ideological commitment, Pathania added, “We will stand firm on every issue in line with our ideology and the spirit of nationalism.”
