Mumbai: Punjabi singer-songwriter Harrdy Sandhu has dropped his latest pop single, ‘Ki Haal Aa’, which he says is an ode to the celebratory spirit of Punjabi culture, crafted with a sound that connects with audiences around the world.
The upbeat number combines energetic rhythms, infectious melodies, and Harrdy’s signature powerhouse vocals to create a track that celebrates the vibrancy of modern Punjabi music.
Speaking about the song, Harrdy said, “With ‘Ki Haal Aa,’ I wanted to capture the festive essence of Punjabi culture while creating a sound that resonates globally. The melodies are upbeat and full of life — designed to make everyone dance and celebrate.”
Blending traditional Punjabi elements with contemporary pop sounds, ‘Ki Haal Aa’ brings together catchy hooks and pulsating beats. Its visually striking music video adds to the song’s high-energy vibe, featuring dazzling visuals that mirror its celebratory mood.
Harrdy Sandhu began his musical journey with Tequilla Shot and rose to fame with hits like Soch and Joker. His track Soch was later recreated for Akshay Kumar’s 2016 film Airlift, while Naah was reimagined as Naah Goriye for the movie Bala.
Expanding his horizons, Harrdy made his Hindi film debut in 83 (2021) alongside Ranveer Singh, portraying a key role in the cricket drama based on India’s 1983 World Cup victory. He was last seen in the 2022 spy thriller Code Name: Tiranga, co-starring Parineeti Chopra and Sharad Kelkar, where he played an agent on a high-stakes mission across the Middle East.
