Gauahar Khan pens heartfelt birthday note for husband Zaid Darbar: ‘Thanks for being an amazing dad to Zehaan & Farwaan’
Mumbai: Actress Gauahar Khan shared a touching birthday message for her husband, Zaid Darbar, on Friday, thanking him for being “an amazing dad” to their sons, Zehaan and Farwaan.
Posting adorable couple pictures on Instagram, the Bigg Boss 7 winner expressed her gratitude and love, calling Zaid her “calm in a chaotic life.”
She wrote, “A walk in the park, a walk on the beach, a walk through the mountains—everything and more that I wished for in this beautiful walk of life, with my birthday boy, my Jaanu, @zaid_darbar. Alhamdulillah, it’s exactly what I got. Thank you for bringing calm and assurance to my busy work life, for giving me two beautiful baby boys, for being the best travel companion, and for being an amazing dad to Zehaan and now Farwaan. Thank you for being honest, loyal, hardworking, and for making my family your own.”
Gauahar went on to describe Zaid as a man with “the biggest heart,” adding, “May Allah bless you at every step. You’re the most thoughtful and caring person I know. I love your Sohail Khan dance moves—even though you eye my Gucci perfume! (laughs) I forgive you. I love you so much. Happy birthday, meri jaan. Allahumma baarik lahu.”
Gauahar and Zaid, son of music director Ismail Darbar, got engaged in November 2020 and tied the knot on December 25 the same year. The couple welcomed their first son, Zehaan, in May 2023, and their second baby boy, Farwaan, in September 2025.
