ADDC Rajouri reviews progress of RDD schemes, emphasizes timely completion of pending projects
RAJOURI: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, Malikzada Sheraz Ul Haq, today chaired a review meeting at Dak Bungalow Rajouri to assess the progress of schemes and budgetary heads being implemented by the Rural Development Department across the district.
During a detailed review of PRI Capex works, the ADDC was informed that out of 2,862 proposed works, 2,756 have been tendered and 1,748 allotted so far. He directed the officers to ensure completion of the remaining allotments within two weeks.
The ADDC also reviewed the status of works under BDC, DDC, SSY, Aspirational Panchayats, and ABDP components, in addition to the progress of CDF-funded projects. He instructed the department to expedite tendering, allotment, and execution of all pending works to ensure timely completion.
Reviewing the PMAY scheme, the ADDC stressed prioritizing the completion of all houses currently under construction. He further reviewed progress under MGNREGA, directing officers to complete e-KYC verification of beneficiaries to facilitate seamless wage disbursement.
A block-wise review of MGNREGA Persondays generation and wage payment status was also conducted.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Maqsood Ahmed; Assistant Commissioner Development Auqil Naveed; Executive Engineer REW; BDOs; AEEs; JEs; and other district and sectoral officers.
