Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to police martyrs at Zewan, Srinagar, on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, saluting their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
At the Martyrs’ Memorial, floral tributes were laid as senior police officers and families of the fallen personnel gathered to honour their memory.
The solemn ceremony concluded with a guard of honour and a moment of silence, paying homage to those who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
