Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma yesterday paid a surprise visit to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri to review the functioning and quality of healthcare services being provided at the institution.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner visited various wards and interacted with patients and their attendants to assess service quality and patient satisfaction. He also reviewed the availability of medicines, cleanliness, and other essential facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the hospital administration to promptly address patient grievances and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and service delivery across all departments. He further emphasized the need for regular monitoring of essential services and swift rectification of any deficiencies to ensure uninterrupted and quality healthcare for all.
The surprise visit was carried out following a few complaints that had recently surfaced on social media.
