SRINAGAR: Legislators Saifullah Mir, Javaid Iqbal Choudhary, Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, and Iftikhar Ahmed met with Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs Javed Ahmed Rana at the Civil Secretariat here today.
During the meeting, the legislators engaged in detailed discussions with the Minister on key issues affecting public welfare and development in their constituencies. Topics raised included water supply, forest conservation, ecological sustainability, and tribal welfare. They stressed the importance of timely grievance redressal and the accelerated implementation of crucial infrastructure and environmental projects.
Minister Rana gave a patient hearing to all concerns and assured that appropriate, time-bound action would be taken on each matter. He urged legislators to continue raising genuine public issues and work collaboratively with the administration to ensure effective delivery of essential services at the grassroots level. The Minister highlighted that sustained communication between elected representatives and the government is essential for achieving meaningful progress and addressing the needs of the people.
