SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday met the outstanding sportspersons of Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar at Raj Bhawan.
The Lieutenant Governor lauded the students for their remarkable performances in national and international sports competitions and extended his best wishes for their future endeavours and upcoming events.
The student delegation comprised Hurriyah Showkat, Samma and Mysha Bilal Kanth — silver medalists at the 3rd Junior Asian Pencak Silat Championship — Zaid Ali, participant in the 69th National School Games (Football), and members of the winning team of the Inter-DPS Football Tournament (Boys Open, Zone 1). They were accompanied by Vice-Principal Ms. Monisa Khursheed and Sports Secretary Mr. Mudasir Bashir.
