Parents Sensitized About Key Government Schemes, Student Welfare Initiatives at GHSS Dradhu

DODA: A Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Dradhu with an aim to strengthen collaboration between parents and teachers for the holistic development of students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents and guardians, who engaged in detailed discussions with teachers about their wards’ academic performance, behavior, and overall progress.

During the meeting, parents were briefed on various government-sponsored schemes and educational initiatives focused on student welfare. School Lecturer Kismat Singh Jaral delivered an informative session highlighting key programs such as the Mid-Day Meal Scheme (PM Poshan), National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Inclusive Education, Escorts and Transport Allowance, Exposure Tours, ULLAS, UDISE, NEP 2020, KGBVs, Samiksha, and Free Uniform Distribution. The session aimed to ensure that parents are well-informed about the benefits and opportunities available to their children under these welfare schemes.

Head of Institution Satish Kumar extended gratitude to all parents for their active involvement and stressed the importance of regular communication between home and school to improve student outcomes. He encouraged parents to remain engaged in both the academic and co-curricular aspects of their children’s education.

The meeting concluded with encouraging feedback from parents, led by Ex-Sarpanch Ashok Kumar Sharma, who commended the school for its transparent approach and commitment to community engagement. He appreciated the staff’s efforts in raising awareness and ensuring that every student benefits from the government’s welfare initiatives aimed at their growth and empowerment.
