Srinagar: On the first day of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly session, Poonch MLA Ajaz Ahmed Jan participated in the Obituary Reference and drew attention to the ongoing violence and loss of innocent lives in Palestine, particularly the deaths of children.
Jan urged the Hon’ble Speaker to include the issue of civilian and child casualties in Palestine in the day’s Assembly proceedings. Expressing deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, he called on the House to jointly condemn the atrocities against innocent people.
“This House cannot remain silent on the massacre of children and civilians in Palestine,” Jan said, urging the legislature to raise a united voice for compassion and justice.
