Rajouri: At least 16 people, including several school students, were injured when a minibus met with an accident at Thandikassi along the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch National Highway on Tuesday.
According to official sources, the vehicle skidded off the road under unknown circumstances, leaving multiple passengers injured. Local residents and police personnel rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations.
All 16 injured were shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for advanced treatment, sources added.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
