New Delhi: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd marked a significant festive milestone, delivering over 1 lakh vehicles between Navratri and Diwali, registering a 33% year-on-year growth.
The strong performance was fueled by robust demand for SUVs and electric vehicles (EVs). The Nexon led the charge with 38,000 units sold, followed by the Punch at 32,000 units, while EV sales surpassed 10,000 units during the 30-day period.
Commenting on the achievement, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd, said,
“Over the 30-day festive window, we achieved a landmark milestone of over one lakh deliveries, reflecting a solid 33% growth compared to last year. Our SUVs continue to drive this momentum — with Nexon, India’s top-selling car in September 2025, growing 73%, and Punch recording a 29% year-on-year increase.”
Chandra added that the company’s EV portfolio also demonstrated strong traction, growing 37% year-on-year.
“Our full range of cars and SUVs has reinforced our strategic commitment to product leadership, market relevance, and delivery excellence. This performance sets a strong tone for the remainder of the fiscal year, as we prepare for exciting new launches supported by continued customer enthusiasm,” he noted.
