J&K Bank donates Critical Care Ambulance to SKIMS under CSR initiative

SRINAGAR: Reaffirming its commitment to public welfare and healthcare support under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), J&K Bank has provided a state-of-the-art Critical Care Ambulance to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar.

The fully equipped ambulance, designed to handle emergency and life-threatening situations, was formally handed over during a government function at the SK International Convention Centre (SKICC).

On behalf of the Bank, Chief General Manager (Operations) Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat presented the symbolic key of the vehicle to Director SKIMS, Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ganai, in the presence of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, General Manager & Divisional Head (Kashmir) Arshad Qadri, General Manager Mohammad Muzaffar Wani, HoD Hospital Management (SKIMS) Dr. G. H. Yatoo, and other senior officials from the Bank and SKIMS.

Speaking on the occasion, CGM Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat said, “As a responsible financial institution, J&K Bank remains committed to contributing meaningfully towards strengthening public healthcare infrastructure across the region. This critical care ambulance is another step in supporting the Government’s efforts to ensure timely access to life-saving medical services. Through such initiatives, we strive to make a real and positive impact on people’s lives.”

The initiative reflects the Bank’s broader vision of extending its role beyond banking — addressing vital social priorities such as healthcare, education, and community development under its CSR programme.
